about

Sound is 50% of the VR experience, yet is often an afterthought in the rush to great visual imagery. Without the right audio cues to match the visuals, the brain simply won't accept the illusion of virtual reality.

ECCO VR brings high-end spatialized, positionally aware sound & music to Virtual, Augmented & Mixed Reality projects. We break conventions of stereo and surround to create hyper-real environments that support and direct the story, as only sound can do. We explore the power of music as the single greatest tool to bring emotion and meaning to immersive experiences. Our expertise in live soundfield recording, sound design, immersive music composition, audio post-production & player integration is combined with strong development partnerships with industry & academic leaders in spatial audio research.
